you do not need to be a member of any society to compete in any class.
This Show Includes Qualification Cards to 1st to 3rd for
Northern Lights Showing Masters Championships to be held on
25th & 26th September 2021
It is the responsibility of the competitor to ensure you enter the correct class
& they are aware of the qualification rules for each Qualifier they enter
Inhand Classes
Class 1 Youngstock - 3 years and under
Class 2 Mountain & Moorland In Hand OPEN TO ALL This class may be divided as appropriate.
Class 3 In hand Coloured OPEN TO ALL Classes may be divided according to entries
Class 4 . Purebred – Open to any full bred horse or pony
Class 5 Partbred – Open to any part bred horse & pony Classes may be divided as appropriate
Class 6 Veteran – 15 years and Over Open to Horses& Ponies any breed type
Class 7 Best Condition - Open to horses and ponies any breed or type
Class 8 New/Novice Showing Combination - Open to any age breed or type, Combination to be in their first show season together.
Class 9 In Hand Concours D’Elegance Open to all
Class 10 Young Handler - 12 years and under
In hand Championship, 1 st & 2 nd Place from classes 1-10 eligible

Class 13 Ridden Hunter – OPEN TO ALL
Open Ridden Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 153cms. Riders any age.
Class 14 Ridden Cobs & Maxi Cobs – OPEN TO ALL
Open Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. Riders any age.
Classes may be divided if entries require
Class 15 Riding Horses – OPEN TO ALL
Open Riding Horse, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, any height. Riders any age.
Classes may be divided if entries require
Class 16 Best Condition & Turnout - Open to horses and ponies any breed or type
Class 17 Handsome Horse /Prettiest Mare
Class 18 New/Novice Showing - Combination Open to any age breed or type, Combination to be in their first show season together
Class 19 Lead Rein Ridden - Open to ponies of any type, riders 8years and under. Age as of 1 Jan in the current year.
Class 20 Ridden Concours D’Elegance
Class 21 Open Mountain & Moorland – OPEN TO ALL
Open to Mountain & Moorland ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A, B, C and D. Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. Rider any age.
This class may be divided as appropriate.
Class 22 Ridden Coloured – OPEN TO ALL
Open ridden Piebald / Skewbald stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over. Riders any age.
Classes may be divided according to entries
Class 23 Purebred – Open to any full bred horse or pony
Class 24 Ridden Part Breds – Open to any part bred horse or pony
